Character Design - Professor Horus
This project is a character design of a magic historian and archeologist professor named Horus. He is named after the Ancient Egyptian god Horus, of which he is a distant descendant.
Included in this project are the full illustration, the initial sketches and video of the entire illustration process.

Initial sketches
These are the initial sketches made for the character. I wanted to give him a stereotypical college professor outfit and incorporate the Horus Eye symbol into his design. I also added the watermelon gin martini to give him a more quirky and eccentric quality.
The fully rendered illustration
In the final version of the piece, I also added a magical book to make the drawing more interesting.
